A refreshing weekend stop-by on the shore of Bay of Bengal. If you are in West bengal, you are neither far from the Himalayas nor from the sea – I am an admirer of both.
On the left – we get a glimpse of red crab island (not far from a fishing village). This emerges out of water only during low tide. Local ferry took us for a ride here. As this island shows up, it takes an absolute flat terrain. One can run across the full stretch gazing into the open sea ahead. Its an unusual feeling. Just need to take care of those swift & colorful crab-traffic crisscrossing your path.
